One of our favourite places for fun family friendly activities is the coastal city of Coffs Harbour and it’s surrounding areas. Coffs Harbour boasts a wealth of things to do with the family. With an abundance of natural outdoor adventures to explore with the kids, to the many fun attractions to experience.

Explore the waterfalls around Dorrigo, the stunning beaches of Coffs Harbour and the Coffs Coast, the many surfing and fishing spots. But don’t forget the many family friendly attractions as well,  like the Big Banana, Butterfly Farm, Clog Barn, Go Karting and much much more.

It truly is the perfect family getaway, and will not disappoint.

Things to do with the kids at Port Macquarie

Another perfect getaway for the kids is the laidback regional city of Port Macquarie. It’s a great place for the kids, with so much to see and do, you are spoilt with choice. Take the kids to the Koala Hospital, see and learn about the iconic Australian Koala. The Billabong Zoo is another great place to see wildlife up close and experience these amazing animals.

If you’re looking for a more physical, the Stoney Aqua Park in Telegraph Point is the perfect action-packed adrenaline-filled activity to take the kids to.  They also offer Water Skiing as well. Alternatively, take the kids on a  bushwalk to visit the Old BottleButt tree in the Burrawan State Forest, which is over 200 years old! These are just a few of the many things to do in Port Macquarie.
