A Perfect Picnic at Boambee Headland

Over on the Coastbeat Instagram, we asked you to nominate your favourite Mid North Coast picnic spot. Muttonbird Island, Smoky Cape, Never Never Creek – you certainly let us know your favourites! We picked a winner at random and Lauren Duguid was the lucky lady. Lauren and her bestie Emily were treated to a picnic at beautiful Boambee Headland. They enjoyed drinks and snacks from Fresco Marketplace and packed everything up into the cute deluxe picnic basket from Kmart at Coffs Central.

When standing on Boambee Headland it’s hard to know which way to look. Wherever your gaze lands, you’ll be treated to a visual feast. From the mountains to the creek and out to the ocean, then down the coast and over the village of Sawtell — this magnificent vista holds you in a thrilling embrace.
