Coming up Trumps in Tourism
Earlier this month the North Coast Regional Tourism Awards were held in South West Rocks. Winners across 14 categories were announced from a great line-up of finalists and represented tourism businesses, councils, accommodation providers, events, restaurants and wineries. Coastbeat was a proud sponsor of one of the categories. Category winners are now in the running for the NSW Tourism Awards which will be held in Sydney later in the year.
Sealy Lookout in the Orara East State Forest was inducted into the Hall of Fame after winning gold three years in a row. Byron Bay Eco Tours was another Hall of Fame inductee.
We’d love to give a special shout to one of our valued sponsors, Coffs Harbour City Council who won gold in Destination Marketing. Congrats!
The businesses reflect new and exciting tourism services and long-standing success stories too. We congratulate the finalists and tip our hat to all the winners. With such a broad spectrum of experiences here on the north coast from tours to picnics, surf schools and festivals, we encourage you all to find out for yourselves why these are award-worthy.
