The Valla Beach Community are running their 5th Annual Art Show on 1st January 2022.

Valla Expressions Art show involves 10 local artists who come together once a year to raise funds for the Valla Beach Community. Two of the current community projects are: to create a family activity space at Anderson Park and an outdoor entertainment space at Valla Reserve.

This year we are joined by Alf Blakey a wonderful metal sculpture who won a prize at the Sculpture at the Gaol for his work named “Cookie” and Christine Campbell, Painter and Ceramicist. Christine’s work is colourful and vibrant, she has a one person show at the Nexus Gallery which closes December 3rd 2021.

Valla Expressions has something for everyone to enjoy. Surf Photography by Chris Hewgill (Hewie), Paintings By Peta Coe, Lorraine Francis and Christine Campbell, Sculptures by Alf Blakey in Metal and Torben Jensen in wood, Jewellery by Karen Tollan, Ceramics by Lyn Walsh and Michaela Kloeckner and finally Tracey Suter fine furniture.

Come and make a day of it. Visit the gallery, have a surf or walk on the beach. Then lunch at one of our great cafes or maybe a barbie down at the Valla Reserve. You may even see a kangaroo or two.
