Saturday 25th January – Tuncurry Markets (Tuncurry)
Stall holders from the north coast region selling a diverse range of products, from handmade wooden toys to handmade organic skincare. A good variety of clothing, lots of plants, plenty to suit all tastes.
Sunday 26th January – Saltwater Freshwater Festival
The annual Saltwater Freshwater Festival, which falls on Australia Day, is a unique and much-loved event attracting a broad spectrum of the Mid North Coast community – Aboriginal, non-Aboriginal, youngsters to Elders. We are excited to announce the Festival will be on Worimi Country for the first time in 2020!
Now until Friday 31st January – Cool Summer Art Exhibition (Tea Gardens)
The Cool Summer Art Exhibition unveils widely varied and fascinating works by the renowned not-for-profit community art group Galleries in the Gardens (GIG).
Port Macquarie Region
Saturday 1st February – Red Hot Summer Tour (Port Macquarie)
Red Hot Summer Tour – Hunters & Collectors, James Reyne, the Living End, Baby Animals and more – Westport Park, Port Macquarie – Classic hits from a stellar line up of old.
Sunday 2nd February – Fitness for Fire Relief
Five Star Fitness, Port Macquarie – Five Star Fitness & its partner Les Mills are banding together to help contribute much needed funds to the Red Cross to help support those in need.
Macleay Valley Region
Friday 31st January – Festival of Small Halls (Frederickton School of Arts)
Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists performing at two of our country’s largest festivals, and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia.
Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February – Trial Bay Triathlon
Coastline Swim: 500 meters in the bay, wetsuits as per new Triathlon Australia ruling, per Race Referee. Caps compulsory as issued. Outdoor Adventure Cycle: 23 km, 1 lap course. Race no. bibs must be worn in the cycle and run on FRONT & BACK. Athletes Foot Run: 6km, road, cross country.
Coffs Coast Region
Saturday 25th January – Street Eats (Coffs Harbour Jetty)
The latest foodie event from ‘Another Tasty Event’ organisers will be held on the last Saturday of each month at the Jetty Foreshores. Enjoy street food from around the world, grab a cold beer or wine from the ‘Beer & Vino’ bar and listen to live music while taking in the sights from the Coffs Jetty.
Saturday 25th January – Rolling Sets Festival (Coffs Harbour)
Call your crew, throw together your best festi-threads and wax your board – Coffs Harbour’s newest beachside festival is just around the corner and the perfect excuse to kick off your end-of-summer long weekend road trip. Rolling Sets will boast a local line-up of Australia’s most respected artists, along with an eclectic mix of homegrown foodies, peddlers, skaters, makers, musos and sponsors. Coffs Harbour Amphitheatre will play host to the event and the festival has an impressive debut line up from Lime Cordiale to the Hilltop Hoods and The Rubens.

The Coffs Hotel – Featuring the man himself Mr Bob Downe will be performing his amazing one man show with local talent supports and Drag Queens.
Clarence Valley Region
Saturday 25th January – Balun Budjarahm Cultural Experience (Grafton)
Balun Budjarahm Cultural Experience workshops will include Aboriginal dance, music, songs and art. Their workshops will also include introduction to Bundjalung language.
Sunday 26th January – Yamba River Markets (Yamba)
The Yamba River Markets are on the fourth Sunday of the month, located at Ford Park on the foreshores of the beautiful, scenic Clarence River.
Byron Bay
Saturday 25th January – Main Beach clean and survey (Byron Bay)
