Introducing a vibrant and fresh approach to shopping, Fresco Marketplace is a boutique market grocer at Coffs Central, stocking seasonal produce sourced from local farmers and growers.
“Fresco is locally-owned and operated with a great team of local employees,” says Donna Lee, Head of Deli and Dry Goods.
“We have a beautiful shop! Our customers love the colour and smell of our fresh produce as well as our Italian music which sets a relaxed vibe. Some of our customers sing and dance their way around the store which is great to see.”
As well as fresh seasonal produce the store carries an impressive gourmet grocery line and has a fully serviced European-style deli filled with a tantalising array of antipasto, cured meats & cheeses, all cut and sliced to order. As Lee says, its “A little bit of Italy meets the city right here on the Coffs coast.” You can also grab a healthy lunch to go from the yogurt& salad bar.
Items are sourced with an evident passion and the Fresco team are always on the lookout for something special. “On a recent trip to the Sydney Growers Markets we were able to source some new & innovative gourmet micro herbs including oyster leaf, bulls blood & ice plant. It was also a great opportunity to meet some of the best Aussie farmers and try their produce that we supply in store.”
So, what’s new in store this season? Stone fruits for a start, while the crimson blush of cherries, lychees, rambutans, and pomegranates makes for a vibrant display of colour on the shelves.
“It’s all about creating an invigorating and sensory shopping experience!” Lee says.
And with Christmas just around the corner you will find lots of gift ideas as well gourmet salad & antipasto platters and beautifully presented gift hampers.
