The final weekend of the Great Southern Nights promotion gives music fans more excuses to get out and enjoy live music again. The November-long line-up of talent has been an important shot in the arm for musicians and venues, as well as entertainment-starved punters. Many shows are sold out and others selling fast, so check with the venues but shows this weekend include: Brendan West, Finnians Port Macquarie, Friday 7.30pm; Jess Flannigan, Hastings Hotel Wauchope, Friday 7pm; Phil Jamieson and Pat Davern, Saraton Theatre Grafton, Friday 6.30pm; Steve Balbi, Ballina RSL, Saturday 7pm; Matty Devitt Duo, Hoey Moey Coffs Harbour, Saturday 2.30pm; Beccy Cole, Laurieton United Services Club, Sunday 4.30pm; Reggie D, Settlers In Port Macquarie, Sunday 7pm.
