Arts and culture in the heart of Coffs Harbour
We support the Arts
At Coastbeat, we’re proud supporters of the arts and are pleased to have profiled many talented and creative coastal dwellers since we began. We’ve featured authors, musicians, artists and performers as well as a broad range of makers whose craftsmanship result in beautiful and unique products. Our magazine and website are much richer for their inclusion.
Cultural and Civic Space
Our belief is that communities are also enriched by having a centre where everyone can learn more about and enjoy the work of those from within their region and beyond. This is why we look forward to the completion of the new Cultural and Civic Space coming to the heart of Coffs Harbour in 2023.

The aim of the project is to create a vibrant cultural and civic precinct where everyone is welcome. The new building will be home to a Regional Gallery, Central Library, Regional Museum and café, as well as council offices and chambers. Additionally, it will offer space for meetings, co-working and much more.
In 2019, after various stages of development and planning over the past few years, the green light was given to move ahead with the project.
